Community

In the community we use film to engage some of the hardest to reach groups, such as: Young offenders, Looked After Children, The homeless, Drug and alcohol abuse groups and young people involved with gangs. We use drama as a means to explore the relevant issues and to find positive solutions. The film making process gives people training in new skills

such as acting, directing, budget and time management, photography, sound design and engineering. Other benefits to our projects include building the participant’s teamwork and communication skills as well as developing their self-esteem. We work closely with agencies such as Youth Offending teams, Youth service, The Home Office,

Connexions and the Police to deliver films that are used as a means of consultation, education and expression.
